Деятельность порта направлена на контроль и предотвращение разливов нефти. Суда, задействованные в процедурах бункеровки топливом, должны соблюдать ряд мер предосторожности для снижения риска до минимума. Будут разработаны и внедрены специальные необходимые меры меры предосторожности, которые необходимо будет предпринять перед бункеровкой. Соблюдение этих мер контролируется рядом организаций, включая сам порт.

Dream Team
The International North-South Transport Corridor is a multimodal route for the transportation of passengers and goods 7,200 km long from Saint Petersburg to the port of Mumbai in India. Rail infrastructure, motorways and sea routes are used throughout the route.
It is assumed that logistics support of transportation along the corridor from the Persian Gulf States, India, the countries of Cenrtal and Southeast Asia, the Middle East to Northern Europe and back will be carried out through the «one window» service and the application of a simplified system of customs procedures and tariff advantages.
INSTC will open up opportunities for further development of Eurasian transportations across the Caspian Sea.
